2. No Doctor-Patient Relationship

Use of this website does NOT create a doctor-patient relationship. Always seek the advice of your doctor or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding IBD or any medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have recorded or read on this website.

3. Revenue Model & Charitable Donations

Flare to Care operates as a social enterprise with an ad-based revenue model. We donate 15% of net revenue to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation to support critical IBD research and patient programs.

4. Data Protection & Privacy

We take your health information seriously:

  • Encryption: AES 256-bit encryption at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit
  • Access Rights: You have the right to access, amend, and delete your PHI (Protected Health Information)
  • Data Ownership: Your health data belongs to you
  • No Selling: We never sell your personal or health information

5. Free Service

Flare to Care is free to use for all patients. Our ad-based model ensures the platform remains accessible to everyone in the IBD community, regardless of financial circumstances.

6. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Cumming, Georgia.
